Return & Refund Policy – perfum.co.za

1. Overview

At perfum.co.za, we supply 100% authentic, brand new, sealed perfumes.

All orders are carefully inspected and verified by our packing team before dispatch to ensure accuracy and product integrity.

Due to the nature of fragrance products, our return policy is strictly limited.


2. Eligibility for Returns

Accepted Returns

You may request a return only if:

  1. The item was damaged during delivery (e.g., visibly broken or crushed packaging upon arrival)
  2. You received the wrong product

👉 The item must:

  1. Be sealed and unopened
  2. Be in its original packaging and condition

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns if:

  1. The product has been opened, unsealed, or used
  2. The customer does not like the scent
  3. The item is not in its original sealed packaging
  4. The product was purchased on promotion or clearance


3. Product Integrity Policy

All products sold on perfum.co.za are dispatched in sealed condition and quality-checked before shipping.

Once a product has been opened or unsealed, it is no longer eligible for return under any circumstances.


4. Inspection on Delivery

Customers must:

  1. Inspect their order immediately upon delivery
  2. Report any issues within 48 hours of receiving the order

All return requests must include:

  1. Order number
  2. Clear photos/videos showing the issue and sealed condition


5. Return Process

To request a return:

  1. Contact us:

  3. Provide:
  4. Order number
  5. Proof of issue (photos/videos)

Once reviewed:

  1. We will approve or reject the request
  2. If approved, we will arrange collection or provide further instructions


6. Refunds

If a return is approved:

  1. Refunds will be issued to the customer’s Perfum Wallet on perfum.co.za
  2. The wallet balance can be:
  3. Used for future purchases, or
  4. Withdrawn (cashout) upon request, subject to verification

💳 Payment Processing

All payments are securely processed via PayFast.

Refunds are not automatically returned to the original payment method, but are credited to the customer’s Perfum Wallet.

⏱ Processing Time:

  1. Wallet credits: 3–5 business days after approval
  2. Cashout requests: 3–7 business days, depending on verification and banking timelines

🔒 Refund Agreement

By placing an order on perfum.co.za, you agree that any approved refunds will be issued to your Perfum Wallet, and not directly back to your original payment method.


7. Shipping Costs

  1. If the return is due to our error (wrong or damaged item):
  2. Return shipping is free
  3. In any other approved case:
  4. → Shipping costs may be the customer’s responsibility


8. Fraud & Abuse

perfum.co.za reserves the right to:

  1. Reject returns that do not meet the above conditions
  2. Refuse service in cases of suspected fraud or abuse
  3. Limit returns from accounts with excessive claims
